I'm Agnes, responsible for employee happiness at Lalalab. Concretely, this involves everything from administrative tasks, to logistics and equipment made available in the office, to workplace well-being. For example, recently, I've worked on providing equipment for those who work remotely. More broadly, I'm the link between the company and employees, to ensure that the company's values are well understood and respected by them. My job is to do everything to retain them, engage them, and help them evolve through training, etc.
Engagement is above all a "win-win" vision! We can't expect employees to be productive and give to the company without giving them something in return... as long as it fits within our budget and priorities, of course. And it's a collective approach: everyone has a role to play in collective well-being, so we try to be very attentive to everyone's state of mind. It's by integrating each employee well, by allowing everyone to find pleasure at work, that they will be motivated, enthusiastic and able to move the company forward as a whole. This really works both ways. That's why we commit to giving them the best conditions and the best possible professional path.
Engagement also creates economic value: the happier employees are, the more productive they are. It's a real virtuous circle! And then, we're not a big holiday camp (laughs): we clearly have revenue to make, KPIs to meet, detailed objectives to achieve, etc. That's why we involve them in turnover and other data. It's important that the psychological and financial health of the company are accessible to everyone.
If employees engage with Lalalab, they also engage with its corporate culture, and therefore with the values that define it. These values were co-written with the teams two years ago: "Everyday is for play", "People are our business", "We win together by working together", "The simpler, the smarter", "Only effort creates excellence", and "There's a whole world out there"... Knowing that all these values respond to our mission, which is to "spread joy" through our service!
