❌ Before Wobee

  • Onboarding processes handled differently from site to site, with no common framework
  • Paper checklists with a high risk of forgetting tasks or people to notify
  • A lot of time spent collecting, printing and passing on documents
  • Heavy reliance on one or a few people: when they were absent, information could stop flowing
  • No tool to reach all employees, especially those without a work email address

✅ With Wobee

  • Structured, consistent onboarding journeys across all group sites
  • Automated tasks and notifications: nothing gets forgotten, every stakeholder is informed at the right time
  • Document collection and transfer built directly into the platform, paper-free
  • A process that works regardless of absences or team changes
  • A shared base to communicate with all employees, including frontline operators without a work email

🔎 Spotlight on Cofigeo

Cofigeo is a French food group and the leader in shelf-stable ready meals, with a 41% market share. Behind that figure are brands well known on grocery shelves: William Saurin and its iconic cassoulet, Raynal & Roquelaure and its regional recipes born in Capdenac, Aveyron, in 1876, Zapetti for Italian pasta and ravioli, Garbit for world flavors, and Petitjean, a quenelle specialist since 1863. The group also sells a range under the Panzani license.

With more than 450 recipes in its catalog and around 1,200 employees across nine industrial sites in France, Cofigeo operates in a complex multi-site environment, with a high share of production operators, many of whom have no work email address. Until Wobee arrived, each site ran its HR practices independently, which created marked differences in the employee experience from one site to another. In this context of heavy paperwork, loosely formalized processes and a real risk of forgotten tasks, Cofigeo decided to structure and equip its HR practices at group level.

Why did they choose Wobee?

Cofigeo wanted to make all its onboarding processes reliable and consistent, guaranteeing every employee the same quality of welcome, whatever their site. Two other major issues guided the choice: reducing the admin workload of managing new arrivals, and laying the foundations of internal communication accessible to every profile, including frontline employees without a digital tool.

  • Give every future employee the same experience even before they join our Group
  • Eliminate the risk of forgotten tasks or notifications during onboarding, despite existing manual checklists
  • Reduce the time spent collecting, printing and passing on paper documents
  • Make sure every new employee has the right equipment at the right time, regardless of a key person's absence or departure
  • Reach all employees, including those without a work email, with the same level of information

Next projects with Wobee

Cofigeo is not stopping at onboarding. Two projects are already underway to cover the entire employee lifecycle.

Crossboarding & Offboarding

With the first phase of the rollout having laid the foundations for onboarding, Cofigeo is now structuring its internal mobility and departure journeys. The goal: every job change or departure handled with the same rigor and traceability as arrivals, on every site.

"The idea is to cover an employee's entire life within the company."
Intranet

The flagship upcoming project is the rollout of the Wobee intranet, planned for late 2025. The stakes are central for Cofigeo: reaching all employees, including frontline operators who have no work email address.

The goal is clear: "Communicating with everyone in the same way, so that everyone has the same level of information."
