Spotlight on the Valentin Traiteur Group

Founded in 1993, the Valentin Traiteur Group has become a benchmark in the French food industry, with nearly 1,250 employees, 6 production sites and 116,558,998 units produced.

Through constant evolution and strategic partnerships with other Rhône-Alpes SMEs — each bringing its own know-how and expertise — the group has adapted to its clients' diverse needs. It offers flexible, high-quality catering solutions while keeping a human, local and environmentally responsible approach.

Why the Valentin Traiteur Group chose Wobee

The Valentin Traiteur Group wanted to go beyond simple administrative management to give employees a smooth and engaging onboarding experience while digitising and harmonising internal communication.

Two main goals:

Harmonise processes and digitise internal communication

  • Roll out a 100% personalised platform centralising all the essential information about company life, accessible to every employee — including those in the field.
  • Centralise communication and make information always accessible, strengthening team cohesion and easing access to key content wherever employees are.

Strengthen new employees' sense of belonging and engagement

  • Automate onboarding with personalised journeys for every new joiner, ensuring a tailor-made and smooth experience while freeing up time for HR teams.
  • Track key milestones in employees' journeys from recruitment onwards, automating actions at each key moment.
  • Ensure personalised follow-up for every employee to maximise their satisfaction and long-term engagement.

The Ambassador Programme: a human approach to reaching less digitalised populations

At the Valentin Traiteur Group, a large portion of employees work on the ground, in production or logistics, with little day-to-day access to digital tools. In such contexts, introducing a new tool can sometimes meet resistance, especially when it changes work habits.

To support this transition and ensure successful adoption of the Wobee platform, we set up an Ambassador Programme: a key initiative to engage these less digitalised populations through internal champions.

The idea was simple: who better than colleagues to explain and demonstrate the platform's value? By relying on engaged, willing employees, the Valentin Traiteur Group built a real bridge between teams and made the tool easier to adopt.

Concretely, ambassadors from various departments were identified and trained to act as referents for their colleagues. Their mission: explain, support and encourage day-to-day use of the platform, adapting to field-specific habits and needs.

This programme made it possible to:

  • Create a direct link with teams, fostering word-of-mouth and real-life demos.
  • Lift adoption barriers through personalised support and tailored formats.
  • Boost adoption by involving trusted people recognised by their peers.

The success of a digitalisation project doesn't rest on the tool alone, but also on the support and involvement of teams. Thanks to this human and collaborative approach, the Wobee platform gradually became part of the daily life of the Valentin Traiteur Group's teams, improving internal communication and HR management.
